Happy Global Running Day. One of these days I will actually spend it running. You can see what I did last year here and you can check out here a post about my miles. Last year running was going to great, until it wasn’t. I got a stress fracture from running too many miles without proper recovery. Just when I started to get my groove back again I found out I was pregnant. So…the year of 2018 will be my year of running.
I meant to get this post published last night but you know, life. In the spirit of keeping it real over here this week has been a little overwhelming. Rylee’s sleep is off, again. Which just starts a snowball effect hitting everything between my sleep habits and mood, workouts, ugh just about everything. Plus I have a feeling my hormones aren’t helping either. So back to my fun weekend…because looking back on fun things make me happy.
How am I entering my third trimester on Thursday?! I go in for my glucose test next week which means I am in the final stretch right? HA I wish. Every time someone asks me when I’m due it’s like they are expecting me to say tomorrow, or the end of the month. The look of shock when I say August 31st is kind of funny. It’s a mixture between that’s not what I was thinking and I fell so sorry for you being pregnant the whole summer.
Guess what day it is?! Aside from being Friday…It’s also National Donut Day. Only one of the best times of the year. June actually has two great days, today and then next week is Global Running Day. I mean can this month get any better?! This morning I made it to the gym, Hallelujah! I must be stepping up my arm game because they were so sore yesterday and feel really tired right now.
So I started out the week all positive and then life hit me like a freight train yesterday morning. That sounds really dramatic but I’m too tired to re-write that sentence, if we’re being honest here. In yesterday’s post I mention I would be at the gym or have gone to the gym, it didn’t actually happen. Rylee was up at an abnormally early hour. I swear the only way I wake up and am functioning is if I go to the gym.
